  • Application for Employment Instructions

    1. Paper applications are kept on file for up to one year. Electronic applications are kept on file for up to two years.
    2. OGI reserves the right to review applications already on file prior to hiring.
    3. Each applicant must fully complete the employment application form to be considered for employment.
    4. Any unsolicited information appearing on the application form or on any attachment will result in rejection of the applicant.
    5. No videotaping, tape recording, or electronic surveillance by any means is permitted on OGI premises at any time except by written permission of the President.
    6. An applicant who falsifies, omits, or provides misleading information on the application will be automatically disqualified from being hired. If the applicant is hired prior to the discovery of the falsification, omission, or misleading information, he or she will be subject to immediate termination once the falsification, omission, or misleading information is discovered.
    7. Full-time employees are expected to devote their time and attention to the business of OGI and will be expected to consider OGI as their primary employer. Any employee who obtains other employment while working for OGI is required to inform his or her immediate supervisor of this fact immediately upon obtaining other employment.

    I understand, if employed, my employment with OGI will not be for any definite period of time and, as such, my employment may be terminated at any time, for any reason or for no reason, and/or with or without notice. No representative of the Company, other than its President, has any authority to enter into any agreement for employment for any specified period of time. Furthermore, any such agreement must be in writing and signed by the President.

    I understand that false, incomplete or misleading statements or failure to disclose information on this application or any Company document, whenever discovered, will result in denial of employment or termination of employment.

    I further authorize the Company to contact educational institutions, former employers or other persons or references who could provide information relating to my acceptability for potential employment at the Company, and I authorize them to disclose any such information in their possession.

    I understand that no representations have been made to me or no agreements have been made with me relating to any employment other than those that have made in writing by an authorized representative of the Company.
